The organs are chicken by design: chicken hearts and liver are easy to buy all year, while turkey organs are not. It is built for cats who do best on poultry and for households keeping red meat off the menu. Turkey tastes milder than chicken, so this meal is a real change for a cat used to chicken without leaving the family of proteins it already accepts. Rotating between the two keeps mealtimes interesting and widens the range of nutrients your cat sees over time. It is the plain, lowest-cost member of our four turkey meals. The Turkey, Chicken & Salmon Meal adds real salmon at a small extra cost, and the Turkey & Salmon Meal puts the most fish on the plate. Most of the nutrition comes from the whole foods; supplements only complete what they cannot cover. It follows the proportions of a prey diet, mostly muscle meat with a little organ and a calcium source, and meets the FEDIAF, AAFCO, and NRC profiles for both variations.
