It is built for cats that love red meat, and for cats that never took to chicken: every meat and organ here is beef. With no second meat and no fish on the plate, it is the purest beef taste of our beef meals, and a complete change of taste for a cat that has grown bored after a long run of poultry meals. When you want variety without leaving red meat, the Beef & Lamb Meal adds lamb and the Beef, Pork & Salmon Meal adds pork and fish. Both cuts have a job: the chuck brings the rich, well-marbled meat and the top round keeps the meal lean. The omega-3 fats come from salmon oil added at serving. For a cat that has to avoid chicken entirely, choose Adults Only: the Kitten & Adult variation takes its calcium from our bone meal, which is made from chicken bones. Most of the nutrition comes from the whole foods; supplements only complete what they cannot cover. It follows the proportions of a prey diet, mostly muscle meat with a little organ and a calcium source, and meets the FEDIAF, AAFCO, and NRC profiles for both variations.
