% of dry matter — for comparing across foodsA red-meat meal with no chicken in it. Beef chuck leads, lamb shoulder comes second, and beef heart, egg, and a little beef liver complete it. It is the meal for cats that never took to chicken, or have to avoid it: every meat and organ here is beef or lamb. It is also the one to reach for when a cat has grown bored after a long run of poultry meals and you want a complete change of taste, not another variation on chicken. Gently simmered chuck and tender lamb make it a real red-meat feast. For cats already on beef-leaning meals it is also a rotation partner. The lamb changes the flavour and brings a different mix of minerals, so the weekly routine gains variety without leaving the red meats your cat prefers. Most of the nutrition comes from the whole foods; supplements only complete what they cannot cover. It follows the proportions of a prey diet, mostly muscle meat with a little organ and a calcium source, and meets the FEDIAF, AAFCO, and NRC profiles for both variations.

FEDIAF is the European pet food industry federation. Its 2025 nutritional guidelines set the minimum — and, where defined, maximum — nutrient levels for a complete cat food.
Values per 1000 kcal of metabolisable energy (ME). Meet? shows whether the recipe value falls within the FEDIAF min–max range. Balance shows where the value sits within the safe range.
