% of dry matter — for comparing across foodsA beef-forward meal with chicken alongside. Beef chuck and beef heart carry most of the protein; chicken thigh, egg, and a little liver keep it familiar and round out the nutrition. It is built as a rotation partner for chicken-based meals, and it suits cats who were never big fans of chicken: beef leads the flavour, and the chicken plays a supporting role. A cat fed poultry week after week often eats with less enthusiasm, and a beef-led plate is a real change of taste and texture without straying far from what most cats accept. Rotating the two also widens the range of nutrients your cat sees over time. Most of the nutrition comes from the whole foods; supplements only complete what they cannot cover. It follows the proportions of a prey diet, mostly muscle meat with a little organ and a calcium source, and meets the FEDIAF, AAFCO, and NRC profiles for both variations.

FEDIAF is the European pet food industry federation. Its 2025 nutritional guidelines set the minimum — and, where defined, maximum — nutrient levels for a complete cat food.
Values per 1000 kcal of metabolisable energy (ME). Meet? shows whether the recipe value falls within the FEDIAF min–max range. Balance shows where the value sits within the safe range.
